Totally sucks, heard about this a bit ago on bg IRC.

I was never a big D&D person, but I appreciate the incredible amount of creativity Gary helped to foster in hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people.

Sucks if it is true. He pretty much laid the foundation for the RPG industry; console, PC, tabletop or MMO. He's affected countless millions of nerds around the world!

I was following his interview threads on enworld.org for quite a while now. He's been pretty ill for a long time, so it was coming.

A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM, also at the Haase Derrick Lockwood Funeral Home.

In the evening, there will be an informal gathering to remember Gary with food and beverage. Time and location to be determined.
