why would the "dark rider" odin involve a treasure? Shouldnt the expansion be named treasures of Odin if he was the last boss?

Im doubting he is, but not that he isnt involved in some way - as SE throws in a lot of pointless crap and turns and fillers into their stories. Maybe odin is protecting the treasure or was hired to gaurd it... idk id just hope the name of the expansion has to do with the expansions story like the others, and i want new tough things to fight for a challenge instead of running from one part of the world to another to talk to one NPC or kill one NM or touch one Door and then go back just like some other story lines might have had us doing.

thats exactly where i was going with it and wanted. Even with cerb, targeting and taking out each head one at a time woulda been neat as it involved a different strategy than everything else. Two targets needing 2 different pt's/alliances to work on each would be cool, mobs being able to buff each other and such.... Kinda like the 18man BC's and HNM's that summon or bahamut2.0 but if it was HNM type with higher lvl mobs and more than one ally needed it would be cool. More people kinda gay but SE hasnt been giving us content thats required less and less people each time, so it would work for them.

Treasure of Aht Urghan = Astral whatever. it's in Aht Urghan right now, but no one knows it's true origins yet.

As big as that some of a bitch is, if he's a summon I don't think you can just walk around with him like Fenrir or Carby. Maybe they'll implement a Kirin-style astral flow where you call him, he tears shit up, and he goes home.

I can see Odin being a part of the story, but not the actual final boss of the storyline, more like a monster you can only challenge after the final boss (pretty much exactly what Bahamut does in CoP. He's an essential part of the overall story, but you don't fight him until after you've already cleared CoP).
