Welcome to the trial run of
Talking Points
or
"Why every JP players wishes you were dead."
Ha, just kidding. There is some frank discussion contained within, which I think is good. Overall, I like how the experiment went.
To recap, I chose 10 questions from the previous thread. I tried to mix in some fun questions with the serious, to make it friendly as well as informative. Despite some (many?) criticisms of foreign players, there wasn't a single poster who criticized the survey itself, or thought communicating with us would be a bad idea. Also, they seemed receptive to hearing what we thought on some issues as well.
As for return questions, there were very few. There were actually more general requests for our opinions than actual questions posed, and I guess people just got caught up with all the questions they had to answer. I'm kind of relieved in a way, since this was a lot of work
Still, I saved what questions they did ask, and plan to go back and make a fresh thread to formally collect some more.
I hope you enjoy reading about what they think, and don't get too caught up by the cranky ones. I did make sure to defend against some of their criticisms, and after getting stuff off there chests through the survey, the vast majority were interested in compromise.
This was a lot of fun to do, and hopefully people reading will feel the same way.

Thanks to all the people who submitted questions, sorry if I didn't use yours D: and thanks to people who supported this experiment so far.
I wish I could stay around for the discussion, but it's like 4am.
